Before you buy
Buying the whole pathway in one go costs less than buying its units one at a time, because each unit price includes its own tutoring and assessment. You can also study unit by unit. When the centre's assessor records that you have achieved a unit, it counts as credit towards every qualification that includes it. Once you have achieved enough units for a qualification, the centre submits your results to VTCT Skills, which awards the qualification. You do not need to buy the pathway as well. This unit includes practical training with our teachers at the centre. If you are working towards a qualification, your assessor also observes you working with real clients, as the unit requires. Be able to maintain UV gel enhancements 6. Be able to remove UV gel enhancements 7. Understand organisational and legal requirements 8. Understand how to work safely and effectively when providing enhancements, maintenance and removal of UV gel nail enhancements 9. Understand how to perform client consultation, planning and preparation 10. Understand contra-indications that can affect or restrict nail enhancement services 11. Understand the anatomy and physiology for nail enhancement services 12. Understand UV gel nail services 13. Understand how to maintain and repair nail enhancements 14. Understand how to provide aftercare advice for clients on nail enhancements
